In elementary school, she used to go to karaoke at least once a week with friends, which is how she fell in love with singing. [x] She’s always prefered being indoors, enjoying alone time to read manga, watch anime and play video games. An old friend who collected a lot of manga had a big influence on her. She would spend a lot of time at this friend’s house reading manga and playing video games together. [x]
During high school, Miki was a part of the light music club, where she provided guitar and vocals. This is where her unique singing style formed, as she recieved many compliments. Singing this way makes her stand out from the rest and it’s also much easier to disguise if she’s singing out of tune. [x]
She is huge Disney fan.
She also knows how to play guitar and often post videos of herself playing and singing on her Twitter with the hashtag #ヤママチ弾き語り. On 26 December 2017, she posted a video of herself performing short snippets of her favourite 3 WACK songs – BiS’s [primal], BiSH’s [my distinction] and GANG PARADE’s [UNIT]. She has posted a variety of different songs by different artists. Notably however, she did an acoustic cover of GANG PARADE’S [WE ARE the IDOL] and [is this call??] by BiSH.
Her first job was at a udon restaurant, during her first year of high school, where she worked for about 2 years. She also worked in a Kushikatsu pub for a time. This was one of her favourite jobs as all the staff and customers were super close, like one big family. When they’d finish at 3am, some of the staff would go bowling together while they waited for the first train to go home. [x]
In the 2018 New Years Special interview, she wrote the word ‘Live’ as she has often thought about dying. When she didn’t know what to do after finishing work, she’s walk out across the train tracks and imagine how she could die at any second. She often thought it would be easier to just die. [x]
She joined WACK in 2015 as a member of POP, soon to change name to GANG PARADE the next year. She had always been a Kamiya Saki fan, had attended many POP live shows to see her, and ultimately auditioned for the chance to meet her. [x]
